I'm changing my name! (and no, it's not because I'm getting married!)

Four years ago I opened up shop as a stationer and calligrapher using the name Veraly & Company. I made up the name as an attempt to appeal to an audience I didn't know, to look more like my "competition", and appear to be a larger company instead of a one-woman show.

Since then, I've grown so much professionally and personally- I discovered a love for styling I didn't know I had and developed more self confidence in the last year than all my previous 33 years combined. While operating under a business name made sense for me in 2015, I don't feel like I need to hide behind it anymore. So, (deep breath!)...I am excited to share with you that I am changing my business name from Veraly & Company to Juliana Mary.

I've already started making updates behind the scenes and am planning the big reveal on my 34th birthday, June 12. In just one week from today (date of writing: June 4), I will be launching a new website and changing over my Instagram name, Pinterest account, and Facebook page. If you're already following me on social, you don't need to make any changes, the names will be updated automatically and you'll continue to see all of my content.

I really appreciate your support and encouragement as I make this exciting update to my business!

If you're working on your branding, struggling to connect with your ideal audience, or just plain confused as why your business isn't thriving, I've created a couple of new resources to help you on your journey to success.

The first is a FREE mini-course called Color Theory: Connecting with Your Ideal Audience. This six minute video is a crash course in color theory and the science behind what colors evoke which emotions. You can get it here.

The second is a Styled Shoot Checklist for stationers and calligraphers. I've participated in dozens of styled shoots over the years and seen it all! The good, the bad, AND the ugly. I learned a lot from each shoot and put together a 2-page checklist of things to consider before committing, questions to ask the lead photographer/planner, and how to up your chances of getting back images you can actually use for your social media feeds and website. Get immediate access to the checklist right here.

Thanks again so much for your continued support as I make these exciting changes to my business. While under construction, my website is still active and you can still shop the Styled Stock Shop and book custom services.
