Custom Stationery Shoot: Ella Paper
Custom shoots are one of my favorite types of projects. From chatting with a client about the future of their business, aesthetic preferences and ideal audience to sourcing props, florals, and of course the shoot itself, each step builds until I finally deliver the final set of images and hear the client’s feedback. That moment before hitting “send” is so exciting!
Custom stationery shoot’s are a great investment to elevate your business presence online and truly present your work as one-of-a-kind.
Liz with Ella Paper was having trouble finding envelope mockups ready to purchase that fit her brand, and came to me knowing she needed imagery that would set her apart from the crowd, were minimally styled to allow for more flourished designs, and didn’t have lots of florals, props, or fruits. She really wanted her design work to speak for itself. With creative freedom and a lot of trust, Liz allowed me to run with her idea and create mockups that were timeless and understated.
To bring Liz’s vision to life, I used very neutral props against the palest blue backdrop, which was purposefully selected to help her work standout in a sea of white. I think my favorite part of this shoot was getting Liz’s reply once the images were ready for her to view:
I absolutely love what I do because of moments like that. Bringing to life someone’s brand and helping them advance their business makes me so so happy. If you’ve been on the fence about a custom shoot for your work (whether to get a few snaps of your most recent suite or custom mockups like I did for Liz) send me an email and let’s get the conversation started. I would love to help your business grow.
